Technology. Some of us love it, some of us hate it, but we just can’t seem to live without it. Modern technology, like cell phones, tablets, and other personal devices have seemed to have completely taken over all our lives. You cant’ walk down the street, let alone enter a library, without having about 90% of the people staring into some form of hand held electronic device.
With so many new devices in the market and on the streets, one problem we all inevitably face is, how and where the heck do we find a place to plug in and recharge before our latest pop music video abruptly ends from a power outage? While I won’t claim to be able to fix everyone’s power outage, with help from my friends at ECA (Electrical-Cables Assemblies), we just might be able to help out a good number.
ECA, located in Connecticut, provides innovative power and data solutions. Their collaborative power solutions are designed to tackle the shift to more open and shared work spaces. Many of these products can be used outside of the furniture, providing full freedom to reconfigure work spaces as need change.
The Isle Collaborative Power Tower in particular would be a great feature to add to collaborative areas in schools, libraries, cafe’s, or really just about any public environment where people are. Being powered with 9 receptacles and 6 USB ports, it is a perfect power solution to conveniently place in the center of a seating area, allowing people to plug in their computers, tablets, or cell phones.
For businesses who need to attract people into their establishments, such as cafe’s, having a additional power plugins means less people fighting over the two outlets in the room and leaving because they just cant live without their phone that is about die. This will hopefully keep the clientele there longer, with the intention that the longer they are there, the more likely they might purchase a second coffee, or decide that a lemon poppy seed muffin might go perfectly with their latte, bringing in more revenue for your business.
There are many power accessory options available as seen in the videos above, and finding the right one for your needs won’t be too difficult with the correct information. Luckily that is what the internet is for.. Now get out there and help save those in need of somewhere to plug in their mobile devices before it is too late and their battery dies before they can get that tweet off.
